Again, good work. Thanks for providing the gnuplot sources - I can fix the labeling on my own version of it.

: I corrected the values and made the rest of the descriptions consistent. I hope this time it is correct! [[User:CyrilB|CyrilB]] ([[User talk:CyrilB|talk]]) 08:31, 25 January 2012 (UTC)

This is a beautiful graph - however, shouldn't the vertical axis be labeled "Ohm-cm^2", not "Ohm-cm^-2"? As the area goes up, the resistance goes down.

The "ideal" curve resembles equation (8) in "A Parametric Study of Power MOSFETS" by Chenming Hu, first published in the 1979 IEEE Power Electronics Specialists Conference, pages 385-395. Reprinted in "Power Transistors, Device Design and Applications" edited by Baliga and Chen, IEEE Press, 1984, pages 225-235. However, that relates RDS-On resistance and breakdown voltage with a factor of 8.3E-9, not 1.63E-8 (and assuming small spreading resistance). Is the source of the more pessimistic factor Baliga's 1996 book, cited by the Wikipedia "Power MOSFET" article?

Again, good work. Thanks for providing the gnuplot sources - I can fix the labeling on my own version of it.
