Corophiidea is a suborder of amphipods, containing the two infraorders Caprellida (skeleton shrimp and whale lice) and Corophiida.[1] It was re-established in 2003 by Myers and Lowry, to contain the taxa previously treated as the suborder Caprellidea, together with some families formerly placed in the suborder Gammaridea.[2][3]
