Sena Jurinac (24th October 1921 - ) is a celebrated Austrian soprano, born in Travnic, Bosnia, Yugoslavia. One of the finest singers of her generation, she excelled in Mozart, Richard Strauss, Wagner roles. She resigned from the operatic stage in 1983, but continues to teach and give recitals.
