Rupinder "Rup" Singh Magon is a singer, songwriter, producer, actor and author born and raised in Montreal, Canada. He is a co-lead singer of JoSH, a Canadian-based South Asian fusion band.
Career

Acting
Rup is a member of the cast of Speedy Singhs (also known as Breakaway) is a 2011 sports comedy film directed by Robert Lieberman, starring Vinay Virmani, Russell Peters, Camilla Belle, and Anupam Kher. Akshay Kumar, Drake, and Ludacris make cameo appearances.
Rup plays Jassi Singh, a member of the Speedy Singhs hockey team featured in the film. [4]
JoSH also recorded the title track for the Speedy Singhs/Breakaway film, titled 'Chaddi Wale Yaar' [5]
Author
Rup will shortly be releasing his first published piece of writing, a cookbook featuring South Asian cuisine, with easy recipes for men. [6]
