Agent Vinod (Template:Lang-hi) is an upcoming Hindi action spy film written and directed by Sriram Raghavan. The film, produced by Saif Ali Khan under his banner of Illuminati Films, features the actor in the title role alongside Kareena Kapoor.[3] Originally set to release in December 2011, Agent Vinod was postponed following a delay in its shooting schedule and will now release on March 23, 2012.[4] The film's theatrical trailer was released on January 25, 2012.

Production
According to Raghavan, Agent Vinod is not a remake of the 1977 action film of the same name.[3] In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, he described it as "a realistic film [...with] full of action pieces, thrills and characters."[3] On 30 May 2010, the director reported that the film's shoot had official begun in Mumbai and would later continue in Morocco[5] and Latvia.[6]
Soundtrack
The soundtrack has been composed by Pritam Chakraborty. The the track "I'll Do the Talking" is an official remake of the 1978 chartbuster "Rasputin", composed by German disco group Boney M. Also the same track is a Hindi remake of Jennifer Lopez's "On The Floor".[7]
