Atomic City is a city located in Bingham County, Idaho, U.S., at the 2000 census the population was 25.
Geography
Atomic City is located at 43°26′33″N 112°48′47″W / 43.44250°N 112.81306°WTemplate:GR.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.3 km² (0.1 mi²), all land.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there were 25 people, 16 households, and 7 families residing in the city. The population density was 96.5/km² (245.4/mi²). There were 22 housing units at an average density of 84.9/km² (216.0/mi²). 24 of the residents are White, and one is Asian.
There were 16 households out of which one has a child under the age of 18 living with them, six are married couples living together, and nine are non-families. Nine households are made up of individuals, and two have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 1.56 and the average family size was 2.29.
In the city the population was spread out with one person under the age of 18, one from 18 to 24, two from 25 to 44, twelve from 45 to 64, and eight who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 58 years. Ten citizens are females and fiteen are males; one of the males is under 18.
