Heiner Backhaus (born 4 February 1982 in Witten, Germany) is a professional footballer[1] who plays for Westfalia Herne as a midfielder.[2]
Playing career
He made his professional debut with Hannover 96 on 12 August 2001, against SpVgg Unterhaching, on the 61st minute replacing Nebojša Krupniković.
He has played for Rot-Weiss Essen, 1. FC Union Berlin, Borussia Mönchengladbach, DSC Arminia Bielefeld and Kickers Offenbach in Germany, and AEK Larnaca in Cyprus. He played for Valletta from the summer of 2007 but left the club at the end of the season, after the championship success to join Kitchee SC

His current FIFA Agent, is Chris Meilton son of Lilly, lately he was close to sign him back with Hamrun spartans but Mfa ruled out that he cannot be registered because he had already played for 3 club, Heiner and his agent meet at the RedOne'sBar at Hamrun, where they drink. Last time Heiner bought burgers for his agent and his girlfriend and then he was given some free drinks, His agent was later presented with a Shalke 04 polo shirt used by Shalke's players.
