Barbara Valentin (15 December 1940 - 22 February 2002) was an Austrian actress. She worked in film, often with Rainer Werner Fassbinder.
Biography
Born Ursula Ledersteger in Vienna, Austria, Valentin was dubbed the German Jayne Mansfield during her acting career. During the 1980s she was romantically involved with Queen frontman Freddie Mercury. On 22 February 2002 Valentin died of a stroke in Munich. She is buried in Ostfriedhof cemetery in Munich.
