Mutabar Tadjibayeva (Uzbek: Mo'tabar Tojiboyeva), born August 25, 1962 at Margilan (Uzbek: Marg'ilon), is a freelance journalist and an activist for human rights. She is known for criticizing the crackdown by the Uzbek government against opponents and especially for his work documenting violations of human rights in the Fergana Valley. President of the NGO Human Rights "Fiery Hearts Club" with headquarters in Paris, it is also the main character in the creation of the popular movement for building civil society in Uzbekistan and has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2005.
May 19, 2008, while Tadjibaeva was still in prison, Martin Ennals Foundation said in a press release that she would win the Martin Ennals Award the same year 1.
She was also awarded the human rights of the French Republic in November 2008. Tadjibaeva was awarded the "Women of Courage" in 2009 the U.S. State Department that it will later on grounds of principle.
She is now a political refugee in France and lives in Ile-de-France
