The artist with the most number ones is Shakira with eight songs that reached number one. The positions before 2002 are still unknown except some songs, as the official site only has charts starting 2002. Starting with October 2009, the chart is premierly presented on Kiss FM, each Sunday afternoon and on the official Romanian Top 100 homepage. The Kiss FM radio show presents the chart under the title "Airplay 100" with a delay of a week. The presenter is VJ Cristi Nitzu.[2] The compiler of the chart was Nielsen from 1999 to 2010, but from 2010 - ongoing the chart is presented and compiled by Media Forest Romania, a franchise of an Israeli monitoring agency.

The current number-one song is "Pleacă" by Vunk feat. Antonia (since four weeks).
