He's funny

He's four feet of angry. He's so cool. 63.26.204.86 (talk) 21:35, 13 January 2009 (UTC)nick[reply]

Unusual Appearances

Removed the completely unneccesary and incorrect "This paragraph could be a joke" amendment to the numbers station paragraph.

  • The last line is lifted from 2001: A Space Odyssey, which hints that the whole paragraph is a joke. So I removed the whole paragraph. If you can find verification for it, you could put it back... minus the joking tag-line about "its origin and purpose a total mystery." Wahkeenah 01:48, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unusual appearances

Do the two video game entries really count as "unusual" appearances? They seem to be within the Looney Tunes milieu. However, if I'm completely off and they do in fact belong here, the paragraphs should be cleaned up. --Kinu 19:18, 8 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Video game info

I removed the following two paragraphs:

In the Taz:Wanted video game, Yosemite Sam appears as a villain, where he captures She-Devil and Taz, and Sam makes a commercial on tv to make the kids and their parents go to Yosemite Park and Zoo to explore, have fun, and a look at animals. So, Sam showed it to Looney Lagoon, Ice Burg, and Zooney Tunes, including Taz. In order to have a holiday, Sam suggest everyone to go Taz Land, which he turns Taz'z island into a park. In order to make everyone to see She-Devil on action, Sam makes them watch the Gladiatoons show in Channel G, then Taz makes a spin at the cage. So, Sam ordered the one who is driving the truck to get She-Devil out of the zoo, and Sam locks the front gate of the zoo to prevent Taz to escape the zoo. When Taz makes an escape, Sam Sam ordered the zookeepers to put up Taz Wanted posters, and capture him. At level boss: Elephant Pong, Sam ordered Gossamer, one of his henchmen, to prevent Taz to escape. When Gossamer loses to Taz, Sam ordered the zookeepers to catch Taz, but Taz defeats the zookeepers, and Sam went to the city. In level boss: Gladiatoons, Sam makes a sponsor to make the people, who is watching the Gladiatoons show, to go Taz Land to have a holiday of the lifetime. After Daffy catches Taz, Sam ordered to put Taz and She-Devil at the desert. In level boss: Dodge City, Sam throws TNT sticks at Taz, then Taz exploded four firework crates. After that, Sam gets angry, and makes an escape. In level boss: Disco Volcano, Sam ordered Gossamer to surround Taz, and Sam prepares to make a trap door at Taz, until the computer says that he can't do it. So, Sam pushes the button to many times, causes Gossamer to fall at volcanic lava, and Sam went to Taz. So, Sam plans to destroy Taz's island by using explosive devices that is in the volcano. After Taz beats Sam, Sam fells to molten lava, until he has a jetpack to make an escape.
In the LOONS:The Fight for Fame video game, Rocky and Mugsy, who appears as villains go to Yosemite Sam to make a movie, however he send the worst actors: Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sylvester the cat, and the Tasmanian Devil to play roles, and battle each other.

We don't go into such detail about his cartoon shorts; why should we for video games? If this level of detail is desired, then please write articles for the individual video games in question and don't clutter up this article. I'll try to revisit the final paragraph of the main section, which is currently a string of "He also appeared in . . . . He also appeared in . . . ." Characters like Sam

What about Colonel Shuffle from Missippi Hare? Col. Shuffle acts and sounds a lot like Sam. (This also makes me wonder if Chuck Jones, who directed the film, plagiarized Freleng, who created Yosemite Sam, seeing as Missippi Hare went into production two years after Yosemite Sam's debut and that the latter film did not get released until 1949.) --- Posted by JS on March 21, 2007 —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 164.58.96.126 (talk) 21:46, 21 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Vandalism

Whoever keeps making edits to say that Yosemite Sam was voiced by Lyndon Johnson needs to stop. It isn't true, and it isn't funny.

Voices

Should his voice from Family Guy be mentioned? User:MrJoshbumstead —Preceding undated comment added 19:58, 16 April 2012 (UTC).[reply]
