Brimstone and Treacle is the soundtrack for the 1982 film adaption of the play Brimstone and Treacle. The film starred Sting in a leading role, and he wrote or co-wrote the majority of the songs on the soundtrack. His cover of "Spread a Little Happiness" was released as a single, and Sting was awarded the 1984 Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance for the title track.
