Flavio Méndez Santiago (alias El Amarillo) is a Mexican drug lord of Los Zetas.[2] He was captured on January 18, 2011 in Villa de Etla, Oaxaca.[3]. In 1993, Mendez was recruited as a founder of the Zetas. He is also believed to be in charge of controlling the flow of illegal immigrants coming into Mexico from Central and South America.
