Joachim Faber (born May 10, 1950 in Gießen) is a German lawyer and business executive. Educated at the University of Bonn, he earned his doctorate at the German University of Administrative Sciences in 1982. He has served as CEO of Allianz Global Investors since 2000, and is the designated chairman of the German Stock Exchange Group.[1][2]
