Jenna Mourey, more commonly known as Jenna Marbles, is an American YouTube personality.

Life and career

Mourey attended Brighton High School in Rochester, New York.[1][2] She then moved to Boston, Massachusetts to attend college at Suffolk University, obtaining a B.S. in Psychology.[3] She then attended Boston University and obtained her Master's in Sport psychology and Counseling.[4] She currently resides in Santa Monica, California with her boyfriend, Max, and their two dogs, Mr. Marbles, a Chihuahua and Kermit, an Italian Greyhound. Mourey previously worked for the blog Barstool Sports.

YouTube videos

Mourey came to prominence as a blogger for stoollala.com, a now-defunct brother site of barstoolsports.com. Through social media networks, Marbles gained fame with her video "How To Trick People Into Thinking You're Good Looking", which had over 5.3 million views in its first week (39,654,120 views as of April 23, 2012).[5] The video was well-received by women. Her video "How To Avoid Talking To People You Don't Want To Talk To" was featured in an August article in the New York Times[3] and ABC News,[6] in which she was quoted as saying, "I'm sick and tired of guys thinking that just because I showed up at a club or a dance or a bar, that I want to have their genitalia touching my backside." The video has over 21,681,777 views as of April 11, 2012.[7] She uploads a new video to her YouTube channel every Wednesday. She has 2,813,217 subscribers to her YouTube channel, along with 474,468,367 page views. [April 19, 2012] [8]
