"To Do" list

Okay Cincinnati people, how about a to-do list?

To do, well for starters we should have at least some mention of the Native American's who inhabited the land where Cincinnati is now situated (such as the Shawnee, Adena, etc), we just totally skip over them in this article and in this main Cincinnati article. I'll see what references I can round-up and then try to edit something into the article but I am by no means a historian (although I did take the U.S. History tract of classes in college) and wish someone who is more astute in this topic would run with it. Anyway, to not even mention these people, whose evidence is still visible in the area (earthworks, mounds, some current roads, such as Ridge Road, that were old "Indian Trails" -which apparently provided a substantial part of the initial infrastructure of land-travel in the Cincinnati, etc), would be a dishonor at the very least. --Paulsprecker (talk) 13:42, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

More info on the civil war era, particularly Cincinnati being placed under marshall law due to the threat of Morgan's Raiders and the Southern sympathies in the area evidenced by the Copperheads (politics) movement would be appreciated.

Proposed merge of "Race relations of Cincinnati" into this article

I am proposing that Race relations of Cincinnati be merged into this article. That article is fairly short and is more of an essay than an encyclopedic article, as it seems to make a lot of arguments and not cite many sources. It would take a lot of work to revise the article into something more encyclopedic, and the article barely meets WP:N. It seems like it would be both more efficient and worthwhile to instead just rewrite the content of that article in a section in this article. -Oxguy3 tc 22:04, 16 May 2012 (UTC)
