Giancarlo deGuzman Lodevico or GC Boombox, more commonly known as GC Unit, is a rapper and the producer of GC Productions and Xtreme-Limit Productions.

He was born and raised on September 12, 1987 in Manila, Philippines. He did his first commercial in the Philippines as a child for the Talk 'N' Text company.

Carlo first entered the music world when he created GC Productions. After being with GC Productions for 7 years, he got out of GC Productions, he created "Xtreme-Limit Productions and Boombox Industry with the help of a Filipino rapper named; "Andrew E."

Giancarlo is best known in the Philippines as a rapper. He performed the songs "Helina Mo Hataw Na" and "Take It To The Xtreme."

Carlo's first major audition was at the age of eleven for the "Talent Show" at his middle school years. At the age of seventeen Carlo starred as Sukaraian, a teenager in the woods hunting down creatures, in his own television program "GC's Final Fantasy" (Episode 185: The Wood Hunter). Carlo has also appeared in various music videos for popular artists- most notably in Southborder's music video, “Ikaw Nga”. He moved to Redwood City, California at the age of 21.

After his huge success in music and acting he moved to the Japan for a short period and fell in love with the country and bought himself a home there.

Giancarlo owns homes in Philippines, Florida, Redwood City, Japan and Maryland and he enjoys flying between his homes during concerts, tours and vacations.

Andrew E. was his manager as the lead vocalist of Xtreme-Limits Productions.

GCX

GCX is the first album of GC Productions. It is the debut of Southborders and Andrew E. as West-side Flips. It was released in 2001 in three different editions. Most of the songs are based on filipino-culture music.

GCX 2 and GCX 2 Gold/Silver Edition

GCX 2 is the title of the second album by a rapper Giancarlo Lodevico of Boombox Industry. It was released in 2002 in Japan, and a year later GCX II (Gold/Silver edition) was released with different versions of songs, a bonus track and a bonus DVD with three music videos. The album was released in Taiwan in 2003 and Korea in 2004.

Turn Off The Lights is the fourth album by a rapper Giancarlo Lodevico of Boombox Industry. It was released in 2004 in Japan. On various online stores the CD is listed as Boombox Presents a Very Merry Christmas because it was released late 2004 and was originally intended to be marketed as a Christmas album. In 2005 two different versions of the album were released in Korea, with one version being a special two disc Christmas edition.
