I will always remember seeing Glenn Campbell on stage in a theatre in Toronto in 1971. My husband and I, along with our two best friends, were all celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and we had been given tickets to the show as a gift.

What a thrill that night was. Marvin Hamlish was supposed to be on the programme but apparently illness made him cancel. So Glen did some extra songs to make up for it. One of the songs he sang (which is not mentioned in your biography) is Feelings. What a beautiful song that is. You could hear a pin droop in the theatre.

I will always remember seeing Glenn Campbell on stage in a theatre in Toronto in 1971. I am so pleased to read that he has overcome his addictions and is well now. I hope I will see him on TV once more at least before I die.

I remember that at sometime in the 50s or maybe early 60s there was a scandal about him and another singer's wife (I think it was Mac Wilson?) They went off together and it broke his friends heart. I often wonder how long that union lasted and if the other two got together.
