The Welsh stressed vowel [ə] is normally mapped to the English stressed vowel /ʌ/, and not /ʊ/ (which would be the typical realization of a short w). Bearing in mind that the phoneme /ʌ/ in most Welsh accents is realized as [ə] anyway—although in Clwydian accents it does err more towards [ɘ~ɤ] under influence from NW England accents.

A number of the changes I believe to be incorrect—where are you getting these from?
