I started this article page and have included general information on what memory implantation is as well as a paragraph discussing different study using the technique. I decided to include a famous court case (the Thurston county ritual abuse case) as it is an example of the kind of observations that aspired the lab studies of memory implantations. I briefly describe the implications of memory implantation, mentioning some of the critiques that have been made against this research (not applicable to real life trauma etc). I also chose to include a paragraph on memory implantation research in children as there has been a lot of arguing about the ethics of conducting this kind of research in children. |
