Bahudhara (Sanskrit: 'many-bearing') is an epithet of the Vajra. This ancient diamond-thunderbolt symbol of the Indo-Aryan traditions is related to the thunderbolt of Zeus, and Mjöllnir, the hammer of Thor. It is also a key symbol of the Vajrayana tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.
