your message on my user page

Thanks, you confirmed what I knew. If you had checked the edit history you would have seen that the comment was left by some idiot that had a fixation with menstrual levitical laws and kept adding nonsense to the menstruation page claiming that Adventists followed levitical menstrual laws. I kept removing it and he quit. alteripse 18:54, 6 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

User:Jubella

I was editing my own page - I do not know how this is vandalism

sorry, I was not paying attention. I did revert my mistake straight away MyNameIsNotBob 11:13, 30 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

East Sea mediation

Hi, so what's going on with this mediation? If you're not continuing, can you find a replacement mediator, or do you recommend the parties go to arbitration? Appleby 01:19, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Great Disappointment

Hi Bob,

could you (and the others from the wikiproject SDA) please have a look at Great Disappointment where a Bahai'i insists on adding Bahaii propaganda. I have deleted the paragraph in question twice, because it is highly irrelevant there, but they inserted it again. Kind regards, Heiko Evermann 19:05, 3 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Great Disappoinment is an article about a specific event in the history of the Millerite movement. Relevant for this topic is what the Millerites and their successors made out of it. A psychologic point of view is in order, too. Bahaii however, is completely unrelated to this movement. And I am very sure that it took decades for them to find out about the adventist movement. So they just picked up the 1844 calculation afterwards and reinterpreted it. And this means that the stuff belongs in a Bahaii article and not in an article about the Millerites. User:MyNameIsNotBob/SDA/Related Pages

I have moved the Seventh Day Adventist page you created to the following location: User:MyNameIsNotBob/SDA/Related Pages, because it is not appropriate for article space. Pepsidrinka 02:47, 7 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It was in the Wikipedia namespace under a Wikiproject though, Isn't that an area meant for collaboration of people wanting to follow the project. I know lists are common on other wikiprojects. Ansell 02:58, 7 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No, it was not a part of Wikipedia namespace. It was a part of the article main space. It was located at WP:SDA/Related Pages. If you take a look at various other pages that begin with "WP", such as the WP:3RR redirect and the WP:DR review, the WP page is within article space and they redirect to some page within Wikipedia space. And as far as I know, there is no related WikiProject yet for this sort of thing. Create one, and a watchlist will be fine, within Wikipedia namespace. I didn't delete the article, so it will be fairly easy for you to move the information to a correctly titled page. Pepsidrinka 13:06, 7 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have moved the page to where it belongs at Wikipedia:WikiProject Seventh-day Adventist Church/Related Pages. MyNameIsNotBob 03:26, 9 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'd prefer if you were more careful before marking pages as copyright violations. This incident has happened before at Jeremy Stein Cushman, and is discussed on the talk page. Please revert the notice. Thanks. --Mets501talk 01:22, 11 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Esperanza!

Welcome, MyNameIsNotBob/bigarchive, to Esperanza, the Wikipedia member association! As you might know, all the Esperanzians share one important goal: the success of this encyclopedia. Within that, we then attempt to strengthen the community bonds, and be the "approachable" side of the project. All of our ideals are held in the Charter, the governing document of the association.

Now that you are a member you should read the guide to what to do now or you may be interested in some of our programs. A quite important program is the StressUnit, which seeks to support editors who have encountered any stress from their Wikipedia events, and are seeking to leave the project. So far, Esperanza can be credited with the support and retention of several users. We will send you newsletters to keep you up to date. Also, we have a calendar of special events, member birthdays, and other holidays that you can add to and follow.

In addition to these projects, several more missions of Esperanza are in development, and are currently being created at Esperanza/Possibles.

I encourage you to take an active voice in the running of Esperanza. We have a small government system, headed by our Administrator general, Celestianpower, and guided by the Advisory Committee comprised of JoanneB, FireFox and Titoxd. The next set of elections will be in April, and I would be glad to see you vote, or even consider running for a position.

If you have any other questions, concerns, comments, or general ideas, Esperanzian or otherwise, know that you can always contact Celestianpower by email or talk page or the Esperanza talk page. Alternatively, you could communicate with fellow users via our IRC channel, #wikipedia-esperanza (which is also good for a fun chat or two :). If you're new to IRC, you may find help at an IRC Tutorial written by one of our members. I thank you for joining Esperanza, and look forward to working with you in making Wikipedia a better place to work!

Re: First edit day

Thanks Bob (I'll call you Bob whether you like it or not ;).

I just noticed it's my one year... I was gonna run for bureaucrat today (as of a few months ago...) but well, the job's kind of pointless, we have working bureaucrats now, and I have perhaps 100 edits in the past 4 months.

So anyways thanks for the message. I'm not sure if I'm even still part of Esperanza but I'm on the calendar so thanks for the jesture :)

your delete recommendation

It is perfectly legit to use the site to have explanatory text about a company. Why don't u re-check the aricle you labled as advertising? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Bornnomadic (talkcontribs) 23:50, April 20, 2006.

Hey

I know I'm not logged in and I didn't use an edit summary, but what I did on Radius_of_gyration wasn't meant as vandalism. I thought that my edit was an improvement because the introduction to the article was ridiculously off putting and confusing to people who didn't know what the topic was... which I would think would be most of the people who'd end up at the article. I think it'd still need some work, but I think that its still an all around better article without that wordy and confusion intro paragraph. 192.136.22.4 04:03, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I reverted it for the reasons that you listed above. Please at least use edit summaries if you aren't logged in. Feel free to redo your edits. MyNameIsNotBob 04:05, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Goole Article

Hi, thanks for changing the Goole article back from the vandalised version.

Just a quick query about this, as it seems to be happening repeatedly. Would it be worth putting one of the vandalism boxes on the bottom of the page? Just starting to annoy me a bit, thats all.

Thanks, Tom. TomiG 17:43, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'll add it to my watchlist and we'll see what happens. MyNameIsNotBob 20:41, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for that. much appreciated. You may want to see what he's put on my talk page, here. How cheeky is that?!? TomiG 21:46, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Old Skool Esperanzial note

Since this isn't the result of an AC meeting, I have decided to go Old Skool. This note is to remind you that the elections are taking place now and will end at 23:50 UTC on 2006-04-29. Please vote here. Thanks. --Celestianpower háblame 20:42, 23 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Irish-Scots

Dear Sir:

If you bother to review my edits to the Irish-Scots page you will see that they are NOT nonsense, and that there is a concerted effort by various other editors (Demiurge, who is a Catholic apologist and wannabe censor, Ali-oops, Camillus, Jtdirl, and others) to censor my edits, not attempt to refute them, which they cannot, because they are the truth. The same is true of the Tim Pat Coogan, Celtic F.C. and other pages which are a source of constant contention due to the attempts by the abovementioned Irish Wikipedians to censor not correct or tidy up -- them!!

I stand by everything I edit on Wikipedia.

Nonsense?

What are you talking about? FourEcks refers to the Last Continent. A link to the world of discworld is too nonspecific.

Use edit summaries as a signed in user and I will be less inclined to treat your edit as vandalism. MyNameIsNotBob 00:03, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
p.s. Especially when Last Continent does not exist. MyNameIsNotBob 00:05, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
