Article creator notice

My level of English leaves much to be desired, but I tried my best to describe this event as I consider it important not only for Russian users of Wikipedia. Please don't be too captious if there are any grammatical or other mistakes in the article or in this message. I'll be very glad to see the article improved and widened. Best regards, --=p.s.a.= (talk) 13:28, 29 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Contradiction

The lead section states that the accident remains the deadliest one in Russian history, which is not true. The last section claims the accident is the second deadliest one, only surpassed by Aeroflot Flight 7425, which is correct. This has to be fixed. Sadly, the DYK hook above was also wrong, following my comment.--Jetstreamer (talk) 20:50, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No contradiction at all, as there's a distinction between Russia and the Soviet Union in the article. I apologize for my comment. I have rephrased a bit the last paragraph in the last section.--Jetstreamer (talk) 20:59, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
