Theda Clark Medical Center is located in Neenah, Wisconsin. It was established in the early 1900s, when Theda Clark Peters, a renowned community activist, died in her home while giving birth to a child. Her brother then donated the money to the community after seeing the need for a hospital.[1]
Theda Clark Hospital was the first in the area to provide things such as:
- Aylward Surgery, Stroke Center, Eye Center, and rehabilitation facilities.
- ThedaStar helicopter (first in state outside of Madison and Milwaukee)
- Single-room maternity suites.
