Song |
"In Your Care" is the second single released by singer-songwriter Tasmin Archer. It was released in early 1993 but failed to pick up as much airplay and media support as "Sleeping Satellite". "In Your Care" stalled at number 16 on the UK Singles Chart. The money made from this release was donated to the charity Child Line, just like the number-one single, "With a Little Help from My Friends"/"She's Leaving Home", by Wet Wet Wet & Billy Bragg.
Song information
- The lyrics of "In Your Care" deal with the grim topic of child abuse.
- CD1 and CD2 of the song were released on two separate weeks, this could explain the steep climb in sales in the second week of its release. CD1 included a remix of album track Ripped Inside while CD2 included a remix of Sleeping Satellite
- John Hughes played guitar on this track. John Beck played keyboards with Danny Thompson on bass guitar. Charlie Morgan was the drummer. Peter Kaye played fairlight and Preston Heyman played percussion
