Split into four distinct sets of events
"The Olympic sport of athletics is split into four distinct sets of events: track and field, road running, and racewalking." But "track and field" is written as though it is a single set, as at Athletics at the Summer Olympics. The side bar divides them into track, road, field, combined. Is there a official split or just a variety of unofficial groupings? Nurg (talk) 22:20, 4 August 2012 (UTC)
