Air Namibia adds new Embraer to fleet
Saw that Air Namibia added a new embraer to fleet - would be an ERJ135 like the rest - from it's website :) http://www.airnamibia.com.na/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.203.91.120 (talk) 21:13, 2 July 2012 (UTC)
Edit War @ MDW
Hi! I know you are a very smart person and know what you are doing. I am at my 3 edits, it is officially an edit war at Chicago Midway International Airport. Could you visit the Talk:Chicago Midway International Airport and put your input in. Thanks! Kairportflier (talk) 23:47, 5 July 2012 (UTC)
- Is the users edits to Philadelphia International Airport allowed? He used just words as sources. Also all of the users OAG edits on airport pages are not sourced so none of the info is supported. Kairportflier (talk) 00:08, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
- This is not a valid reference, of course.--Jetstreamer Talk 00:12, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
- I didn't think so, and what about all of his edits that are not sourced... what can I do about it other then erase it. But he doesn't respond on his talk page. Kairportflier (talk) 00:13, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
- This is not a valid reference, of course.--Jetstreamer Talk 00:12, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
Also could you (because I don't know how) fully protect MDW. Thanks! Kairportflier (talk) 00:21, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
- I cannot do that 'cause I'm not an administrator.--Jetstreamer Talk 00:22, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
- Can you request it then, or tell me how. Thanks! Kairportflier (talk) 00:24, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
- You may contact User:MilborneOne.--Jetstreamer Talk 00:28, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
- Can you request it then, or tell me how. Thanks! Kairportflier (talk) 00:24, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
Also, what do we do with all of his other edits that are the OAG things? NONE have sources. Kairportflier (talk) 00:28, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
Apologies
I would like to express my sincere apologies for giving the appearence of disruptive editing. I assure you I was only editing in good faith and trying to improve the appearence of the article. I was in no way trying to distrupt or vandalise the page. As stated in the edit summary I was trying to update the reference. I do not understand why you were so hostile to me over such an insignificant matter. For the sake of peace in the community, I am voluntarily ceasing edting as to no longer offend you or anyone else. Disambiguation link notification for July 15
Hi. When you recently edited LGBT rights in Argentina, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page El Universal (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Merge?
Hi, I am just wondering if you think this page should be merged into the main airline article? Thanks --JetBlast (talk) 21:54, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
- I think it should, as the list is not that long to justify a stand-alone article.--Jetstreamer Talk 21:56, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
- Where would we go from here to propose this? Do we add a particular tag please? Thanks --JetBlast (talk) 22:01, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
- This was discussed not so long ago at WP:AIRLINE's talk page. The corresponding thread has likely been archived.--Jetstreamer Talk 22:07, 15 July 2012 (UTC)

Could you possibly check this article out so far as facts go? It started out as a Ryan Kirkpatrick creation(before he got banned), Was made into a redirect by YSSY Guy(I disagree with him bolding it. This was the worst ever crash involving a Fairchild Hiller FH-227) and then resurrected by a 3rd editor who re-wrote it using Spanish sources. One of which is a broken link now but internet archive might be of help. I know you speak Spanish, which I don't, which is why I was asking your help. The article is in need of re-writing. Ryan had the cause in the article but the new edition doesn't. Please reply back here. I'll be checking....William 16:27, 20 July 2012 (UTC)
- I'll keep an eye on the article...--Jetstreamer Talk 14:31, 21 July 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks. BTW I just created Somali Airlines Flight 40. Feel free to look it over and make any fixes it might need....William 14:39, 21 July 2012 (UTC)
Ethiopian Airlines
That info is incorrect. Because that is not the correct information! Ethiopian Airlines doesn't have another -200LR on order, and there is no such thing as a -300F... Check your info please. Thank you.AerospaceAirAviation (talk) 04:46, 21 July 2012 (UTC)
- Regarding your first claim, the article already had a referene supporting the acquisition of an additional 777-200LR, and another source was added, so you're clearly wrong with this. As to your second one, it is the way stated in the archived version of the airline's fleet page. I cannot be responsible for errors made by the airline in its webpage, so raise your concerns directly to the company.--Jetstreamer Talk 13:07, 21 July 2012 (UTC)
Ethiopian Airlines 777-200LR order update
Hello. I did add a reference to the Boeing Press Release (which I would consider a reliable source) in my edit summary. I did not add a reference to the order column on the Fleet Page because I did not see a reference for the orders for the 737-800 in that column, but if necessary, I can do so (http://boeing.mediaroom.com/index.php?s=43&item=2350). Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kiskaloo (talk • contribs) 15:23, 21 July 2012 (UTC)
Just a few comments:
- First of all, thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia
- Anytime you add information, please back it up by providing at least a reliable reference in the mainspace, not in the edit summary. Please bear in mind that most of the readers don't even notice that there exists either an edit summary for any edit or a history for articles, so please ensure that your place the url of your source between <ref></ref>. Despite there exist citation templates, you don't have to worry about tidiness, as any other editor or a bot will improve your edit later.
- Ethiopian Airlines' article already has two references regarding the new order for a 777-2000LR.
If you want to know anything else about citing sources, you're kindly invited to take a look at this page. Again, thanks. --Jetstreamer Talk 15:48, 21 July 2012 (UTC)
Editing Help
Thank you for your lovely and reliable information! But I have a question.
Lets say someone edited some information on a Wikipedia page, but they have no account. And when you re-add the right information, how do you send a message to that user, noting why that info has been re-added again, even though they do not have an account? — Preceding unsigned comment added by AerospaceAirAviation (talk • contribs) 17:52, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
- You should go to the talk page of the corresponding editor (an IP editor in this case) and post the note you want there. Templates in this page may be helpful.--Jetstreamer Talk 00:22, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
It's been a month since you last edited this review page, and there has been significant progress in the interim. Are you still continuing with this review, or should it be put back into the GAN pool for another reviewer? Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 01:05, 24 July 2012 (UTC)
- You should also mention that the last of my suggestions were implemented only ten days ago. I will continue with the review as soon as I have time to do so.--Jetstreamer Talk 01:10, 24 July 2012 (UTC)

Hi there! Can anyone please move List of Balkan Bulgarian Airlines destinations back to Balkan Bulgarian Airlines destinations. The latter is the standard naming for airline destinations. I'd do it all by myself but don't have admin priviledges. Thank you.--Jetstreamer Talk 13:31, 24 July 2012 (UTC)
- There is already a redirect in place. Gavin Perch talk 16:55, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
- I'm precisely asking for the redirect to be undone. You're not an administrator. Why did you respond to my request?--Jetstreamer Talk 17:02, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
- You didn't need an admin for that, the redirect had no history outside of its creation. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 06:39, 26 July 2012 (UTC)

Ethiopian Airlines Retiring 757s and 767s
Hi Jetstreamer!
I found 2 articles saying that Ethiopian Airlines is planning on retiring their 757s and 767s soon! I would like you to read it and see if that is some good information that is worth you putting on the Ethiopian Airlines fleet page.

Heathrow - Airlines & Destinations
Hi,
I'd like to make a suggestion for the Airlines & Destinations section of the Heathrow airport page as I'm not good with inserting links. Lufthansa Regional (operated by Eurowings) would not appear to be flying to LHR at all since February or March 2012. If you go to Lufthansa.com, you will see that all flights from Düsseldorf and Hamburg are operated by Lufthansa themselves, no matter what date you enter or what flight you select. Therefore, it would probably make sense to remove Lufthansa Regional from the list of current operators to LHR. Especially since, working next to LHR's northern runway, I haven't seen one of their aircraft here since the winter.
Also, it would be good to see if there is any official confirmation that Colombian carrier Avianca will start services to LHR in 4Q 2012, as has been strongly rumoured.
Thanks,
MG — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.128.115.14 (talk) 16:11, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
Biman Bangladesh Airlines codeshare agreement
Hi, Since you frequently check on Biman Bangladesh Airlines and its destinations, I would like to inform you that Biman has a lot of codeshare agreement with other airlines, but the wikipedia page has no information about its codeshares. Biman has codeshares with Gulf Air, Qatar Airways, Emirates, Saudia and many more airlines, according to its Official Website. Would you update the information or should I?
Happy Editing!
Ahnaaf (talk) 16:44, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
- You are right. Codeshares are missing. I'll add that section. Thanks for the data. Regards.--Jetstreamer Talk 17:09, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
airline destination page
Hi, just a thought and would like your opinion on this. At present most of the airline destination article table is a huge table with 'colour coded' rows. It contains information mixed up. Is it a good idea to suggest a project to split airline destination wiki articles to two separate tables. The first table will list all the operationally active ones, and the second one lists terminated, seasonal, chartered flights etc with colour coding. There is a downside to this is. The 'maintenance' will be a bit of overhead since it involves moving rows when an airline discountues/terminates a flight, however for the user - this will really help in my view since in most cases, reader will be looking for operationally active ones (for e.g while planning journey). --Smet (talk) 21:34, 26 July 2012 (UTC)
- Terminated destinations are currently included (or should be) in each airline destination list. Notwithstanding, I recommend you to raise the discussion at WP:AIRPORTS' talk page to get other opinions.--Jetstreamer Talk 22:13, 26 July 2012 (UTC)
BA cargo
Can their destinations be added to BA destinations lsit as all three aircraft are in full BA livery. 59.103.214.102 (talk) 12:54, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
- No, they can't. Global Supply Systems includes not enough references to support that the company flies on BA's behalf.--Jetstreamer Talk 12:57, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
- But here is BA cargo freighter schedule http://www.baworldcargo.com/schedule/longhaul_w2011.pdf listing all destinations served using GSS 748F in full BA livery. 119.154.238.45 (talk) 18:32, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
- Those destinations correspond to both BA and Iberia. Which airline serves which destinations?--Jetstreamer Talk 18:35, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
- All are served by BA, Iberia does not operate freighter aircraft, all aircraft are in BA livery, schedule is for BA Cargo from their website. 119.154.238.45 (talk) 18:53, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
- The timetable you added to Global Supply Systems specify that the cities included are served by BA World Cargo. Sorry, but I still don't see the connection between both companies. The article still lacks such connection (supported by at least a reliable reference).--Jetstreamer Talk 20:35, 30 July 2012 (UTC)

- Exactly why they should be moved to BA destinations list as they are not GSS own destinations. 59.103.215.235 (talk) 21:23, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
- Mmmmm, perhaps you're right. But what to do with GSS?--Jetstreamer Talk 21:25, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
- Let it remain as other ACMI carriers articles with no destinations mentioned, like Atlas Air, World Airways etc. 59.103.215.235 (talk) 21:35, 30 July 2012 (UTC)

Hello. Can any admin please take a look at this user's contributions? S(he) keeps adding to the article images that were not taken at the airport, as well as removing maintenance templates from the page. So far, I warned him/her twice. Sockpuppetry suspected as well. Thank you.--Jetstreamer Talk 19:02, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
- I have checked the user's editing history, and you are quite right about the problems with their editing. I have given a level 3 warning, with a little more detail about some of the problems than you gave. If the problems still continue please feel welcome to contact me on my talk page. The IP address is probably the same person, but I don't see that use of both the IP and the account has been abusive. JamesBWatson (talk) 08:40, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
Montenegro Airlines flag carrier status
Can you please explain to me why you put "citation needed" tag on the sentence where it states Montenegro Airlines is the flag carrier of Montenegro? There is no citation for Air France being the flag carrier of France, or for Lufthansa being the flag carrier of Germany. I could go on, but there's no need. It's unclear to me why you would think YM isn't the flag carrier of Montenegro. Zastavafan76 (talk) 14:41, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
- Because of WP:V. If you think the other airlines you mention have their flag carrier status unsupported, you can go and add the same tag to their articles. I have reinstated the tag you removed. Let me remind you that removing maintenance templates is considered vandalism.--Jetstreamer Talk 14:48, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
Please, you don't need to make me look stupid. I am not going to put citation tags on other articles as "revenge" for the citation tag on this article. Also, I do not think that articles of large western carriers lack citation evidence of flag carrier status, I just don't see what calls for a citation needed tag. When you said that the article doesn't support the flag carrier status, I realized that the only evidence of government favoritism was given through a source from the airline's main website (in the history section). You may or may have not noticed it, but I kept on deleting the citing tag because you didn't say whether there was any very-noticeable reason/lack of evidence to put it there. I just added two more independent sources that cited state aid/protection to the airline, although it would be useful to tell me which kind and how many sources do I need to put to affirm that flag carrier title. Zastavafan76 (talk) 00:38, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
- Flag carrier includes a citation you should use in the article we're talking about. It was added by myself to that article, as many others were. It will be my pleasure to include it in Montenegro Airlines for yourself. You just have to search in order to find...--Jetstreamer Talk 00:44, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
Well I see you found it yourself. That was generous. Thanks Zastavafan76 (talk) 01:00, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
