"Too Much Time on My Hands" is the second single release from Styx's 1981 triple-platinum album Paradise Theatre and reached #9 on the US Billboard Hot 100, and #2 on the Top Rock Tracks chart for one week. It was written and sung by Tommy Shaw, who also plays the lead guitar solo during the break in the song.

The song is centered around a new wave-styled synthetic keyboard bassline.
