Make It Happen Productions, Inc. (MIHP) is an American independent full-service production company that creates and oversees projects from development to post-production. It was founded by executive producer Billy Frank in 1994 and is based in Sherman Oaks, California.[1]

Selected notable works

Before the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia, MIHP produced a multifaceted 35mm project for the Australian Tourist Commission and Bank of America called The Australian Experience, which included a thrill ride, promotional short film and "behind-the-scenes" documentary as part of a one-year traveling exhibit, the Bank of America Down Under Tour.[2] The project debuted on NBC's The Today Show and earned MIHP the Grand Festival Award for Promotional Short Feature at the 2000 Berkley Video and Film Festival, three Bronze Awards in three different categories at the 2005 Telly Awards and a nomination for Best Promotional 35mm Film at the 2000 Ojai Film Festival.[3][4][5]

In 2005, CBS's current president and CEO Les Moonves enlisted MIHP to executive produce multiple spoofs of its popular show Survivor for the network's upfronts, which went on to promote sales to multi-million dollar advertisers.[4]

In 2010, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) brought on MIHP to produce a series of pool safety educational videos and nationwide print and radio PSAs to promote the prevention of water accidents.[9] MIHP garnered several awards for its role in producing the resulting Pool Safely campaign, including an Aurora Award, a Bulldog Award and multiple Telly Awards.[10]

MIHP also produces traditional commercials and new media and integrated marketing campaigns on an ongoing basis for companies such as Nikon, Ford, Discovery, CBS, FX/Fox, ABC and Sony.
