Did he have a cameo in the film Network?

About halfway through Sidney Lumet's film Network, is that Tom Gibney as the TV announcer introducing "The Howard Beale Show"? He isn't credited in the film (nobody is credited for that role), but it's well known that the studio sequences in the film were shot in Scarborough at CFTO-TV. And it looks a lot like him. On the DVD (special edition), the clip appears at time 1:02:24, chapter 17. A second clip is at time 1:57:19, chapter 31. --Mathew5000 09:34, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I found a reference and put it in the article.[1] --Mathew5000 09:52, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
