Judith Ralston trained as a musician from an early age and went on to study at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, the Royal Northern College of Music and in Canada. When her voice collapsed, her singing career ended,^[1] and in 1999 she began a new career working for BBC Scotland, presenting tv news bulletins, classical music programmes for Radio Scotland, and doing some features for Radio 3 before becoming a voice of travel and weather for Radio Scotland. She is now one of the main weather presenters for BBC Scotland. Born in Edinburgh, and married to the meteorologist and photographer Fraser Ralston, she has 3 children; Alexander, Max and Georgia. (In February 2011 she gave birth to twins,^[2]at the Princess Royal Maternity Hospital, Glasgow)
