:Generally speaking, "List of..." type articles list only subjects which satisfy Wikipedia's [[WP:NOTE|notability]] standards. If a subject does satisfy those standards, then an article can be written, providing references to [[WP:RS|suitable sources]] to demonstrate notability. IF such a demonstration of notability has been made, then the subject can be included in the relevant list article. Whether notability has been demonstrated or not, an entry in such a list should not link to the web site of a business. The purpose of the links in such a list is to link to Wikipedia articles with more information on the subject, not to enable people to go t the company's promotional material. You may not have intended your link additions to be spam, but whatever your intention, the effect is to provide promotional links. I see no reason to suppose that any editors involved are "Anti-French/Swedish". If you do have serious evidence that this is so then let me know on my talk page, and I will be willing to look into it. However, before doing so, first make sure that it is not a case of editors who are, in good faith, trying to ensure compliance with Wikipedia's policies. June 2010

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did with this edit to Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article.   — Jeff G. ツ 04:15, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

March 2011

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Lyceum of the Philippines University has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.facebook.com/pages/Lyceum-Debate-Society/116914315052942.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Please stop adding unreferenced controversial biographical content to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Kim Kibum. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Manway 03:30, 28 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

This is your last warning. The next time you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory or otherwise controversial content into an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Sungmin, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Please stop adding unreferenced controversial content

The edit you made (here) in the Miss Earth 2011 article was reverted. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. July 2012

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from My Beloved (TV series) with this edit. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. September 2012

This is your only warning; if you insert a spam link to Wikipedia again, as you did at Mobile phone industry in Russia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. Please stop adding external links to multiple articles. Biker Biker (talk) 06:59, 25 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. Wikipedia is not an exhaustive directory (WP:NOTDIR). Lists are meant to aid navigation, so they should only contain links to articles, not masses of external links. --Biker Biker (talk) 07:18, 25 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Is there something you do not understand about Wikipedia's external link policy? --Biker Biker (talk) 07:25, 25 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing my addition of Thomson Smartphones (France) and Doros (Sweden) "List of Mobile Phone Makers" article. I already included their official websites in French and Swedish respectively and still you're not convinced whoever you are. I noticed that there are individuals here who are Anti-French/Swedish in which lot's of articles about them and their accomplishments are full of discrepancies and intentionally made. What about the cellphone makers in Bangladesh and Philippines which do not have enough basis that they are made on those countries, I noticed that thy are not removed.

See my comments above regarding external links. --Biker Biker (talk) 07:33, 25 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
