Sherardian Library of Plant Taxonomy The Sherardian Library is named after William Sherard and is based in the Plant Sciences Department of Oxford University and closely associated with the Oxford University Herbaria. It was founded 1st October 2012 and comprises the taxonomic collections of the former Plant Science Library, the remainder of which transferred to the Radcliffe Science Library on that date.
