Rebel Woman the 2008 release by Chiwoniso Maraire off, U.S. based, independent, Cumbancha is her first international release in over 10 years.[1] Chiwoniso's music is traditional, yet strong and progressive. The tracks are backed by the sounds of the traditional Marimba, an instrument that traces through her families lineage as well as her countries.[2]
