Axel Hay is a fictional character in the Australian soap opera Home and Away, portrayed by actor Trent Dalzell since early 2008.
Character history
Axel first appeared as a friend of Aden Jefferies and like him he loved to cause trouble. Unlike Aden, he seemed to be open to getting along with his fellow Summer Bay High students and helped to organise Sally Fletcher's farewell.
He has a younger sister named Danielle.
On the 27th May, Axel attended Nicole Franklin house's party and after coming on to Belle Taylor, he goes into a bedroom, in which he found Melody Jones crying and attempted to rape her under the pretence of comforting her.
The following day Axel asked Aden how Melody was, looking as if he was hiding something. Later he snuck into Melody's room, where he tried to make sure that she didn't remember anything from the night before.
