Kilaspy- This church was dedicated to the bishop, the site of the church is marked on sites and monuments maps. Rathpatrick- This church is one of the most recent ones as you can still see the remains of the church. A prominent hill known as Carriganurra, features a large concrete cross at its summit. Slieverue parish is home to Belview Port, the main sea port of [[Waterford]]. There are two national schools in the parish: Slieverue and Ringville. Slieverue is the birthplace of [[John O'Donovan]] ([[1809]]-[[1861]]) an Irish scholar who translated the ancient text [[Annals of the Four Masters]] into English.
