The Grand Casemates barracks is a building in Grand Casemates Square, Gibraltar, that was originally a fortified barracks and casemate.

Construction of the Grand Casemates bombproof barracks began in the 1770s, but the building was only completed in 1817.[1][2] Hygiene was primitive.
