Thanks for the helpful suggestions. I think I wrote that message on the talk page of the wrong IP address--there were two IP addresses making similar edits, and one of them was worse than the other (You wrote a message on both of their talk pages). I deduced they weren't good faith edits based on the other edits they were making, but you're right, I could have been more constructive. Back to the grind! Hello Slazenger You received this message because there is a new version of huggle ready for use. Please download http://code.google.com/p/huggle/downloads/detail?name=huggle%202.1.19alpha.exe and do any tests you want on any wiki you can use it on. Please bear in mind it's a testing version and it may contain bugs, so be very carefull. Should you find any issue, please report it immediately to our feedback or tracker. Thank you. I am definitely not a bot, so please send me a message in case you didn't know what is this about, or needed to know anything more. In case there will be no bug reports, stable version will be released in 4 days. In case you don't want to receive this information, please remove yourself as a beta tester of huggle. Thanks for the intervention tonight, it was all quite an eye-opener for me, never having been witness to any deletion before, never mind a speedy one; it was like the Special Forces descending, cleaning everything up and leaving barely a trace behind! Thanks! PaleCloudedWhite (talk) 01:30, 26 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Vue
Hey Slazenger,
Do you live at The Vue on Apache? I live there and see this stuff go on everyday. The wiki page is very incorrect.
I am trying to save others from making the same mistake.
I'll respond on your talk page in regards to this. The article is very clearly inaccurate and written as an advertisement, but instead of putting degrading unsourced information in the article, it would be wiser to work to either improve the article and work to have it removed. --Slazenger (Contact Me)
Unsourced...I live there and have seen it with my own eyes. Do you want to see my receipts of them charging me hidden fees? Do you want to see the Police reports of the events I have witnessed?
I have seen three drunk college kids fall off the balconies with my own eyes. One is still in a vegetable state on life support. The other two are dead.
I have photos of the management office having quotes on their whiteboard of "Make that money" with numerous dollar signs next to it.
I am simply trying to save other college kids looking for credible information. This place needs to be put on blast for the truth. Not what they try to sell. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.223.24.170 (talk) 23:47, 25 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
this seems to be the only way I can figure out how to talk to you. I appreciate you looking into this and rectifying the situation. I moved in last August 2011. I will link the news articles you can find online here. Actual Police reports, I am not really sure how to obtain those. I am just a college student.
great quote from that article: " Records obtained by The Arizona Republic show that by Christmas Eve, police had been called to the building 244 times, nearly four times the number of calls to other high-end complexes populated largely by students along Apache Boulevard."
As for any press about the deaths. They do a good job of covering everything up and protecting their image as a desirable place to live. I will work on it for you though.
You know that i said that i apologize for disrupting ?
I really dont
i didnt do that
someone else hacked into my account so dont gimmie those warnings Slazenger

I deeply respect your concerns questioning the existence of the small, quaint little village of Hollyhurst. However, I also strongly object to your efforts regarding the deletion of the page. It is argued that "Hollyhurst" is the colloquial name the locals give to Churchill, and even though Churchill is the village's official name, the name, Hollyhurst is more commonly used. I myself am a police detective from the village so I think I know better than you do if it exists!
Due to the last edits I have made to Sega and Nintendo, you are probably getting suspicious that i am an internet troll. But, I am not. I honestly thought that nintendo owned sega, and so I put the logo there.
Thank you for your message about my edit to the "Profession" page, which changed the word "interested" to "disinterested." This was intended as a constructive edit, as it appeared to me that someone had edited the article in the last day or two to substitute the word "interested" for "disinterested." It is possible that my memory was faulty, but since it is indeed the hallmark of a profession to provide disinterested (i.e., objective, expert, and not self-interested) counsel, and since it would be a breach of professional ethics for a professional to provide interested (i.e., self-interested, subjective, or otherwise compromised) advice, I considered the change necessary.
Hello Slazenger,The refs for the changes ARE given -see Encyclopedia of Nz (online) and Dictionary of Nz Biography (on line)as stated. There is alot more to come from these and other sources (NZETC TE Kooti) yet ,to give a more rounded picture of this historical figure, which I will do as time allows. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.58.184.199 (talk) 21:12, 15 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
We work hard to keep things accurate. We're passionate about what we do here. You've had your final warning. Feel free to contribute in a positive manner to help improve Wikipedia with your spare time - otherwise, knock it off. --Slazenger (Contact Me)10:28, 4 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That wasn't the question, the question was 'how did you revert the page so fast after I changed it?'
SineBot is simply a bot that helps identify comments from people who don't "sign" their posts with a four-tilde identifier. There are anti-vandalism bots, but the vast majority is taken care of by individuals. --Slazenger (Contact Me)10:33, 4 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
So, if a whole bunch of people (10,000 or more) decided to vandalise wikipedia pages at the same time then you would be almost completely overwhelmed?
But what if only one letter was changed in the whole article; what then? Are you honestly telling me that you would be able to work out everything that had been changed?
Different situation: what if every article was completely changed, and I mean unrecognisable multiple times? What then? How would you be able to revert the articles? (This is all entirely hypothetical) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.208.158.138 (talk) 10:38, 4 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'm growing bored of this back and forth...so let's put it like this. IF an article is vandalized - it will be reverted quickly regardless of what is done to it or the quantity effected. --Slazenger (Contact Me)10:40, 4 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Final situation: all the articles have been deleted, there is a DDOS attack of 10,000 or more linked computers directed at the main server and all the copies of the original articles stored have been deleted in their entirety. What happens to Wikipedia now? (Still entirely hypothetical)
So am I blocked from editing Wikipedia articles now? I only ask because I normally do it properly; hence being blocked would be an annoyance. --46.208.158.138 (talk) 10:51, 4 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'm glad it's helpful. Also, there's two kinds of user pages. With and without userboxes. Guess which mine is. When I started (finally) decorating my page, I went around picking userboxes that best described me from user pages. If you like userboxes (some users don't) you can likewise paste ones that suit you into a {{collapse top | Userboxes}} and {{collapse bottom}} setup until you figure how you want to place them. All the best and good to meet you. SlightSmile01:55, 6 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! Just FYI, if you see edits with "class=inlineAdmedialink" popping up, they are a result of a misbehaving javascript that some editors have running (or something similar). They don't appear to be intentional vandalism on the part of the editor. See Wikipedia:Edit_filter/Requested/Archive_5#Extraneous_formatting for a little more info. I have requested that an edit filter be put back in place to handle this. --Tgeairn (talk) 05:37, 16 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
you undid my edit
hiya
you recently undid my edit on the international free press society which is widely credited with being a front and advocacy group for anti-islam hence why I made a link to the main page of islam, so that users who come across the page may feel inclined to know what is islam and there is the link.
I respect your decision though feel the link is relevant to the topic, message me back on your decision though I respectfully ask you to reconsider. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.23.208.70 (talk) 20:34, 11 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Slazenger, did you see all the edits of this anonymous user? He is placing his See also: Islam-text everywhere, also in articles that already have a link to Islam. It looks like he is more more interested in having as many links to the Islam-article, instead of making the article look good. I think you did the right thing to revert the edit in the first place. I'll restore it.Jeff5102 (talk) 19:12, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Ben Carson???
Sorry to bother you but I've find in my box (before log in) a message from you of February, 15 to 2.81.63.134, regarding some vandalization of a Ben Carson article. I'm sorry to say, but it wasn't me, because I always work under my name, never under an IP, and only today I've discovered someone named Ben CArson! Bonifácio (talk) 20:25, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Considering the warning was given to your IP, rather than your account, I'm assuming the IP you were using is either in the public domain or is a shared IP. If that's the case, you can disregard. If you only make edits on your named account, anything related to your edits would be left on the talk page there. Regards, --Slazenger (Contact Me)21:33, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I understand where you were coming from, but you must understand that we have procedures around here to deal with issues with articles. If you are displeased with the content of an article, you can go to the talk page in order to discus changes you would like to see. All pages in Wikipedia have talk pages for discussion. Also, if you have any knowledge/expertise on the subject matter, feel free to contribute yourself! Just be sure to include citations and references for changes you make. I've also added some information to your talk page that I hope you'll find helpful. Regards and happy editing, --Slazenger (Contact Me)08:41, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Slaz;
I just wanted to inform you that Williabe has made yet ANOTHER vandalism edit to Thomas Merton. I have gave him a THIRD warning. I don't know what to do with him anymore. Please respond on my Talkpage. Thanks.
