Me and Armini is the fifth (third released outside Iceland) studio album by the Icelandic singer and songwriter Emilíana Torrini. It was produced by Dan Carey.
The album was released on 8 September 2008, preceded by the digital single "Me and Armini" on 19 August. "Big Jumps" was the next single and was released on 29 September 2008.[7] The third single, "Jungle Drum," was released as a digital download on March 9, 2009, and later that year, on June 19, it had a physical release on CD (in Germany only). The single became a number one in some European countries, such as Germany, Austria and Iceland and in Belgium.[8] The album entered the U.S. Billboard Heatseekers Chart at #30.[9]
On May 4, 2010, the song "Gun" was used over the end credits for the opening episode of the TV-series Luther on BBC One.
