"The production of the film is quite similar to episodes of The Twilight Zone though it predated that popular television series." Red Nightmare was released in 1962. Twilight Zone began in 1959 according to that Wikipedia entry. Either this sentence or the Twilight Zone entry needs to be revised. :Agreed. The original film, AFIF-120 (Freedom and You), here: http://archive.org/details/gov.archives.arc.48469 also bears a copyright of 1962. I can't find any evidence of an earlier production date, so the statement doesn't seem to be true. [[User:Corbomiteo|Corbomiteo]] ([[User talk:Corbomiteo|talk]]) 22:03, 4 December 2012 (UTC)

Seems that there are two articles about the same film. In order to improve the quality of this article it must be merged with The Commies Are Coming, the Commies Are Coming or the latter be merged with this article. 71.212.254.160 20:05, 13 June 2007 (UTC)71.212.254.160[reply]

Seconded. I have updated a bit on "Commies" but most of what's here is superfluous.

Merged & redirected. SkierRMH 09:21, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think the film should be referred to as 'Red Nightmare', or it's original title 'Freedom and You'. 'Commies' is a parody title given by a company in the '80's for its video release, and was never an approved title.

It would be more correct to redirect 'Commies' to a page titled 'Red Nightmare'. 71.198.177.48 (talk) 20:28, 28 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Almost everyone knows this film by the name Red Nightmare, so that's where I put it. Commies ... redirects to it. Agateller (talk)

Twilight Zone did precede Red Nightmare

"The production of the film is quite similar to episodes of The Twilight Zone though it predated that popular television series." Red Nightmare was released in 1962. Twilight Zone began in 1959 according to that Wikipedia entry. Either this sentence or the Twilight Zone entry needs to be revised. Deidzoeb (talk) 16:40, 9 April 2012 (UTC)Deidzoeb[reply]
