Stor-Göteborg, litteraly Greater Gothenburg, is a metropolitan area surrounding Gothenburg. It is used mainly for stastistical measures. Most av Stor-Göteborg is located in Västra Götaland County, except the municipality of Kungsbacka which is in Halland County. Stor-Göteborg is with a population of 816,931 the second largest metropolitan area in Sweden after Stor-Stockholm.
Estimates in the 60's told that Stor-Göteborg would have about one million inhabitants in the year 2000, about 200,000 more than there is today.
