-- I just read ACC's 2001, and as I recall, it described a white ellipse, like an eye, centered on the moon's equator and aligned towards the poles, with the monolith exactly in the centre. I don't remember anything about this "white circle in a black circle" business. It can't come from the movie either, because Discovery only went to Jupiter in the movie. Thoughts?? |
