Cwmhiraeth (talk) is wishing you a Merry Christmas! This greeting (and season) promotes WikiLove and hopefully this note has made your day a little better. Spread the WikiLove by wishing another user a Merry Christmas, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past, a good friend, or just some random person. Happy New Year!
Spread the cheer by adding {{subst:Xmas2}} to their talk page with a friendly message.
Seasons greetings to you!
From the fact that you still have foil-topped milk bottles delivered to your door (mentioned in the jackdaw FA candidacy), and other subtle clues from your contributions to Wikipedia, I deduce you are based in the UK, as am I. In the winter it used to be a common sight to see vast flocks of starlings swirling overhead. It seems to me that these days starling numbers are startlingly lower and the last "flock" I saw had a few dozen members. How would you like to undertake a collaboration with me in the new year to improve the article on the common starling with a view to trying to get it to FA status. While doing so we should learn what is happening to its population in the UK and why. I remember reading somewhere that it is considered an invasive species in the US. - Good. I'll look forward to our collaboration. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 17:55, 23 December 2012 (UTC)

Deleted Wordbee
I am absolutely challenging your deletion of the article I authored on Wikipedia. It was absolutely NOT advertising, it was written carefully by ME, a customer of Wordbee, and it even uses the terminology used on related articles. It uses absolutely no promotional language, and is modeled on the entries of similar wikipedia entries.
You site G11, and you site A7. You show me where there is even a shred of promotional language in that document, and I will believe you. As for A7, Wordbee was one of the first cloud technologies to come out (and I should know, I own a translation agency!), and ABSOLUTELY deserves a Wikipedia entry. Their place as one of the first cloud providers on the market is the ONLY sentence in the entire entry that could be considered a violation of G11, and it is included specifically to negate the possibility of an A7 violation.
Related articles, which, I by the way fixed and made legible, because they were not even good (see collaborative translation, crowd sourcing, globalization management system... etc.).
I will be challenging this until the cows come home, because I know FOR SURE that this article was not a violation of A7 or G11.
ABSOLUTELY.

After spending quite some time on this (and raising an SPI), I've deleted this as a blatant hoax. Dougweller (talk) 16:28, 24 December 2012 (UTC)
MGH Group deletion
Hi, it looks MGH Group is deleted due to Unambiguous advertising or promotion. I am currently adding articles in List of companies of Bangladesh. MGH Group is one of the largest conglomerate in Bangladesh and highly visible in national media. Can you kindly unlock the article so that I can improve it? If you can put some guidelines, I will try my best to avoid further deletion. Maqayum (talk) 19:28, 24 December 2012 (USA MT)

Thomas Puskailer: 26 December 2012
Hi Jim,
I am new here as you can tell, you recently deleted the page Thomas Puskailer. I would request you to please undo the action as its all verifiable info on there and all the info lead back to the details on www.thomaspuskailer.com. Also if I made any mistakes let me know it is the first time I created a page, so any help would be great. Also here are more sources about Thomas it is all in slovak but he is a very famous singer in Slovakia, so all the info I also took from here: http://hudba.zoznam.sk/spravy/15-11-2012-thomas-puskailer-dnes-vydava-debutovy-album-make-believe/ , http://hudba.zoznam.sk/thomas-puskailer/, http://hudba.zoznam.sk/spravy/26-11-2012-exkluzivna-premiera-thomas-puskailer-prekvapil-drsnackym-klipom/, http://hudba.zoznam.sk/spravy/22-11-2012-debut-thomasa-puskailera-sa-krstil-laserovymi-lucmi/. I maybe made a few links by mistake, which should not be made, after reading the wiki help site about: why was the page deleted .. so I will deleted these when the page is online, thank you and speak soon

Thomas Puskailer: 27 December 2012
Hi Jim, I have made some changes with your explanations, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Abbie_Guilding/sandbox. I hope you can put the page back online. I will slowly add more info about Thomas but need to know if this is ok now, thank you, best wishes, Abbie Abbie Guilding (talk) 01:50, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
Sandbox the Wordbee entry
Hi Jim,
It was done in a single edit... on Wikipedia. I did quite a few edits outside of Wikipedia...
While I disagree about the article sounding promotional, I can rectify the other issues. There are some other links around the web that I didn't find before, like this one: [1], that prove notability (all the other tech providers on that list probably have pages!) They also won a CeBIT award [2]. But so, can you stick it in a sandbox or something so I can work on it? And then can you pass/fail for me or something?
Thanks Jim,

Re: Deletion on Knightwatchers
Hi Jimfbleak. Would you mind being kind enough to explain your CSD deletion of Knightwatchers please? It'd already been declined for CSD A7, as A7 does not apply to and cannot be used for, books. G11 covers that if it's needed - also, since I was working on it, to bring it to standard, would you be kind enough to move the entire piece into my userspace since you deleted it? CSD being declined, prod being removed, the next step should have been AFD, am I right? :) FishBarking? 11:20, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
- Jim, I echo BarkingFish's concern. CSD A7 criteria is very specific about what it includes. "Spam" and "books" arn't listed. Nor does it qualify as CSD G11 which requires that it is entirely promotional which it is not. I'd suggest letting it fall back to WP:AFD.--v/r - TP 16:57, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
Thomas Puskailer: 28 December 2012
Hi Jim, thank you for your help, made all the changes, added more sources, and slowly working further on the page. Could you move the page back to the article space as I cannot find the "move" button to put it back, thank you, best wishes Abbie Abbie Guilding (talk) 02:02, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for December 28
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Phedina, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Pemba and Transvaal (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 12:39, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
Thomas Puskailer: 30 December 2012
Hi Jim, thank you for the instructions. Needing now a bit help with the "move". I have found the button next to the "View history". I went on the "move page" and put in next to " To new title": I clicked on "Wikipedia" and entered the name "Thomas Puskailer". In reason I added: Instructed to do so by a member of the wikipedia advisory team who has been assisting me setting up this page, after I supplied all the adequate verifiable sources he required. Let me know if this was the correct thing to do to get the page back on wikipedia. here is the link of entering the details: http://en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=Special:MovePage&action=submit. If I need to enter other details let me also know. Thank you so much for your help, best wishes Abbie Abbie Guilding (talk) 14:38, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
Starling
I found some cut and paste copyright violations which I removed from the Introduced populations, North America section. The starling has been tremendously successful over there and the whole section is very negative. I haven't looked at all the sources but the section does not mention the good done by the birds as insectivores eating agricultural pests. I feel like leaping to their defence, as I bet they replace a lot of pesticides which would need to be used to eradicate the vast millions of leather jackets, beetle grubs, fly larvae, ants etc. that they consume. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 15:37, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
Deletion
Hi. I am slightly confused about this deletion. Could you clarify how it qualifies for G7, given that the user who tagged it is not the one who started the page? Nor do they appear to be alternate accounts: their user pages even state that they live in different countries. It Is Me Here t / c 20:27, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
