The film was initially planned to release on December 21,2012.[4]Later the released was pushed to December 28,2012.[5]
Reception
Critical response
Genius received negative ratings from critics. FilmGola , a telugu movie review aggregator has given an average rating of 2.33 out of 5 based on 18 reviews. [6]Telugu123 has given a rating of 2.75 out of 5 stating that the basic concept and the message that the film tried to convey are laudable. Popular telugu site gulte has given 0.5 rating out of 5.
