Eu'Vend (official subtitle the international trade fair for the vending industry) is organised every two years by Cologne Trade Fair (koelnmesse) at the fairground in Cologne - Germany. The conceptual sponsor of the fair is the German Vending Association (bdv).^[1] The show is open for trade visitors only. Last Eu'Vend took place from 08.-10. September 2011. The next show will be from 19.-21. September 2013 in conjunction with coffeena (official subitle "international coffee fair") again.^[2]^[3]

History

Till 2001 the interested companies exhibited their products at Anuga. Than the vending industry decided to launch an own platform. At the first Eu'Vend there exhibited 178 companies from 13 companies. Within these three days there came 3.968 trade visitors from 49 countries to Cologne - Germany.

In the following years EuVend has grown further. The participants in EuVend 2011 comprised 237 suppliers from 28 countries. These consisted of 143 exhibitors and one additionally represented companies from Germany and 94 exhibitors (39,6%) and four additionally represented companies from abroad.^[5] With 5.584 visitors from 66 countries (30,1 percent from abroad) EuVend & coffeena is deemed to be the most international vending and coffee fair.^[6]
