The Sands of Kurobe (黒部の太陽, Kurobe no Taiyō) is a 1968 Japanese drama film directed by Kei Kumai. It was Japan's submission to the 41st Academy Awards for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, but was not accepted as a nominee.[1][2]
