Marcel Sisniega Campbell (born July 28, 1959 - died January 19, 2013) was a chess Grandmaster from Mexico. Mexican GM Marcel Sisniega Campbell was the first mexican Grand Master. Sisniega was 9 times Mexican champion and 3 times Carlos Torre Memorial winner. In a very respectable chess career he beat amongst others Anand, Yusupov, Illescas and Nogueiras.
He didn't play after the early 1990s.
He was also a film writer and director. He is most recognized for his work in creating "Libre de Culpas" in 1997.
