:Lorayna — like Leon above, your question should go to a real reference desk not a Wikipedia talk page. I recommend trying your local public library or the [http://www.ipl.org/div/askus/ Internet Public Library]. Cheers! Blanking
All previous content on this page was totally unrelated to the article about reference desks in libraries, so I've blanked it: this page isn't for questions about Swiss history or child custody disputes. Nyttend (talk) 02:24, 28 October 2011 (UTC)
Thank you!
I did not know where to post a thank you so it ends up here. I just wanted to thank all the people, educators, those with in depth knowledge of various subjects posted to Wikipedia. Wikipedia has helped me in my college classes. For those who post factual, accurate information, all I can say is, it is very good of you to submit accurate information. We who use the information appreciate it very much. A thank you to founder Jim Wales for starting Wikipedia. Again, Thank you to everyone who puts forth accurate information for use, may only good things come your way!!!
Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.195.72.238 (talk) 19:04, 17 November 2011 (UTC)
How many hotel rooms in this city ?
I was having a discussion with some friends and we wanted to know how many hotels rooms there are in cities around the world. This was a topic of some discussion, so admittedly we first went to Goggle, but alas no result, no matter what we did. Then we thought Wikipedia, but to our disappointment same empty feeling, no results. Please assist with this information, even it this only pricks your interest slighly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.49.170.32 (talk) 09:46, 6 January 2012 (UTC)

- Hi Leon,
- Your question is best addressed by an actual library reference desk, not the "Talk" page here which is meant for a discussion about this specific Wikipedia article. You can visit your local public library or the Internet Public Library to get an answer to your question. Phette23 (talk) 17:12, 14 January 2013 (UTC)
Quote source?
Hi, I am seeking a verification of a quote. I think it may be from the childrens' book The Island of the Blue Dolphins????? Can you help me find out where this quote is from, please? The goal is not to be perfect but to have the ability to cope effectively with the challenge. Thank you, Lorayna B. lorayna2blue@yahoo.com — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.130.161.55 (talk) 19:08, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
