The son of the composer [[Kazimierz Sikorski]], he was a pupil at the [[Warsaw]] conservatory of his father as well as taugt by Zbigniew Drzewicki. After that he studied [[1965]]-[[1966|66]] in [[Paris]] with [[Nadia Boulanger]]. From [[1975]]-[[1976|76]], he worked at the Columbia-Princeton Electronic Music Center in [[New York City]]. He worked as a pianist and freelance composer in Warsaw.

Tomasz Sikorski (born 19 May 1939; died 12 November 1988) was a Polish composer and pianist.

His Life

The son of the composer Kazimierz Sikorski, he was born, and eventually died in Warsaw. He was a pupil at the Warsaw conservatory where his father taught, and was also a pupil of Zbigniew Drzewiecki there. Thanks to a scholarship from the Frech governement, he studied 1965-66 in Paris with Nadia Boulanger. From 1975-76, as a recipient of a Senior-Fulbright Scholarship from the US government, he worked at the Columbia-Princeton Electronic Music Center in New York City.
