Kamanahalli is a small village located in Tumkur District, Turuvekere Taluk, Mayasondra Hobli and Vittalapura Post. The village is about 12 km from Yadiyur which is famous for Lord Siddalingeshwar Temple and 100 km from IT City of Bangalore.
The village has a population of around 150(around 30 families). The average literacy rate is 70% though the village has no primary school, the village is also deprived of basic facilities like Roads or Transportation even after 65 years of Independence. The villagers are dependent on neighbouring villages for primary and secondary education. For the hospital and medicine, villagers have to go at least 15 km from the village.
Kamanahalli have lord Sri Ranganatha Swamy temple and lord Lakshmi named by lord Sri Muttinamma temple hereby. There is a festival celebrated during the month of March or April, generally held for 9 days.
